🇬🇧 The type­face “Netherlands Dirty Numbers Vol 1” is desi­gned for the Typo Gra­phic Design font foundry in 2017 by Manuel Vier­gutz. The playful dis­play font is designed on holiday photos of different numbers (house numbers, graffitis, handwritten menu cards …) from the Netherlands. An alphabet built with numbers.

How To Use – OpenType-Features

■ In Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, font feature controls are within the Character panel sub-menu → OpenType → Discretionary Ligatures …
Checked features are applied/on. Unchecked features are off.
■ In Adobe Illustrator, font feature controls are within the OpenType panel.
Icons at the bottom of the panel are button controls. Darker ‘pressed’ buttons are applied/on.
■ Additionally in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, alternate glyphs can manually be inserted into a text frame by using the glyphs panel. The panel can be opened by selecting Window from the menu bar → Type → Glyphs. Or use sign-overview of your operating system.

■ It may process a little bit slowly in some applications, because the font has a lot of lovely rough details (anchor points).

🇩🇪 Die Schrift »Netherlands Dirty Numbers Vol 1« gestaltet von der Typo Gra­phic Design Font Foundry in 2017 bei Manuel Vier­gutz. Die verspielte Headline-Schrift ist gestaltet aus Urlaubsfotos von verschiedenen Nummern (Hausnummern, Graffitis, handgeschriebene Menükarten …) aus den Niederlande. Ein Alphabet gebaut mit Nummern.

342 Gly­phs mit A–Z, a–z, 0–9 und 40+ deko­ra­tivne Extras wie Pfeilen, Ding­bats, Emojis, Sym­bole, geo­metrische Formen, Schlagwörtern, dekorativen Ligaturen (tippe das Wort »LOVE« für ❤ oder »SMILE« für ☺als OpenType-Feature dlig ) und natürlich viele viele Nummern (20+ Stylistic Sets). ■ In Adobe Illustrator, lassen sich OpenType-Features einer Schrift einstellen über die Palette OpenType. Die Icons befinden sich am unteren Rand. Dunklere, gedrückte Icon-Schaltflächen zeigen, ob ein Feature aktiv ist oder nicht.
■ Zusätzlich kann in Adobe InDesign und Adobe Illustrator, alternative Zeichen manuell über die Palette Glyphen (Menüleiste → Fenster → Schrift → Glyphen) in ein Textfenster eingefügt werden.
Oder verwende die Zeichenübersicht-Palette deines Betriebssystems.
